LA Health Survey provides information on the health of the county population using data from a telephone survey of Los Angeles County residents. Data is by county (SPA and health district; user defined areas upon request, depending on sample size). Updated biennially.

Health Data Resources Inventory catalogues public health data reports available for Los Angeles County including data from the Department of Health Services. Some other data sources included in the catalog are from the Los Angeles County Children's Planning Council and the United Way. Describes multiple sources of health data and links user to contact information.

LA Health Brief. A series of reports focusing on important health issues in Los Angeles County. Published every 8 -10 years.

Health of Angelenos. A compilation of health statistics for LA County.

The Burden of Disease in Los Angeles County identifies the leading causes of premature mortality and disability in the county population. Results are provided for the total county and by gender, race/ethnicity, and service planning area.

    The Dartmouth Atlas Project works to accurately describe how medical resources are distributed and used in the United States.     Health, United States is an annual report on trends in health statistics. The report consists of two main sections: A chartbook containing text and figures that illustrates major trends in the health of Americans; and a trend tables section that contains 156 detailed data tables. The two main components are supplemented by an executive summary, a highlights section, an extensive appendix and reference section, and an index.
