Support for Medi-Cal Estate Recovery Bill SB 33

Support for Health For All Bill SB 4
The bill removes barriers to the health insurance market by directing the state to seek permission from the federal government to allow undocumented Californians to purchase their own health coverage through the Covered California Health Insurance Exchange. SB 4 will also expand Medi-Cal to include individuals who would qualify for enrollment in the program based on their income but who are denied based on their immigration status. (May 2015)
Support for Covered California & Medi-Cal Notices in Threshold Languages Bill AB 1114
California law requires that the joint Covered California/Medi-Cal application, as well as other “forms and notices,” be translated into the Medi-Cal threshold languages. (April 2015)
