Councilmember Herb J. Wesson (CD10) honored the Community Health Council (CHC) for the work they have done in improving the health of the community. During the presentation, Mr. Wesson proclaimed August as “Know Your Digits! Be in Control” month. This CHC campaign is designed to educate African-Americans and Latinos on monitoring and effectively managing their blood pressure.
