Benefits take effect on the first of the month following 30 calendar days of employment. CHC’s basic medical is an HMO Kaiser plan, with the option of electing a PPO.

Director of Community Resilience
Working as an intern with CHC can be a valuable and fulfilling experience as we work to improve the health of underserved populations in the South Los Angeles area. Intern applicants will be serving in various capacities. These positions offer a unique experience as you have the opportunity to learn and grow in many different ways while serving the community.
Interns will work with CHC for a quarter. An internship period can be renewed after a quarter pending intern performance, as well as organizational and supervisor capacity. Applications will be due two weeks before a quarter starts. Internship periods and due dates are as follows:
